Solid Surface - Care and Maintenance Tips |

You have selected a product that is as durable as it is beautiful. Here are a few tips that will keep your solid surface products looking attractive for years to come. Cleaning: Wash with soapy water and rinse. Wipe dry to eliminate watermarks. For difficult stains: Use an abrasive cleaner and a Scotch-Brite* pad. You can also use a powdered bleach or diluted household bleach (1part water / 1 part bleach).
Disinfecting: Same as above (but without the Scotch-Brite* pad).
Maintenance: Soak the sink (white only) with diluted household bleach (1part water / 1 part bleach). Wipe down the sides as the sink drains.
Cleaning: Wash with soapy water and rinse. Wipe dry to eliminate watermarks. For difficult stains on matte finishes: Use an abrasive cleaner and a Scotch-Brite* pad. You can also use a powdered bleach or diluted household bleach (1part water / 1 part bleach).
Disinfecting: Use diluted household bleach (1part water / 1 part bleach) to wipe down surface. Rinse and towel dry to prevent watermarks.
Maintenance: For a gloss look, use Hope’s Countertop Polish® or, for matte finishes, use a Scotch-Brite* pad.
* Remove cuts and scratches with a 400 grit sandpaper, followed by an abrasive cleaner and Scotch-Brite* pad. * Do not cut directly on solid surface countertops. * Hot pans should be placed on a hot pad or trivet
